Balotelli’s sports hernia is worst than expected
The former Liverpool was ruled out before AC Milan’s schooling at the hands of Napoli and has failed to make his comeback against Torino too. The 25 year old will also miss tomorrow’s game against Sassuolo as he didn’t join the last training session ahead of Sassuolo.
During yesterday’s the pre-match press conference Mihajlovic showed his pessimism over Balotelli’s fast recovery admitting that the situation is “worst than expected”, while the club’s president Silvio Berlusconi declared that he found Balotelli much more wise and mature than during his last experience at Milan.
The recovery time of the former Inter is still not clear, but according to the CM.com journalist Federico Albrizio, to see Balotelli back in action we’d have to wait until the last International break of the year, set to be in the middle of November.
The contemporary long term injuries of Niang and Balotelli are preventing Mihajlovic from adopting a system with two strikers, such as 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2. For this reason the Serbian manager is expected to opt for a 4-3-2-1 against Sassuolo, with Luis Adriano more likely to start than Bacca, who is also not in perfect physical conditions.
