AS Roma defender Rudiger snubs Chelsea move

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Rudiger wants to stay at AS Roma in the January transfer window and ‘doesn’t even wants to sit down and listen’ the offer of Chelsea. The Germany International is a long time target of the Premier League giants that have made several offers to lure the solid rock defender.

Rudiger is a long time target of the Premier League giants, so much so Conte already tried to bring the Germany International to the Stamford Bridge last summer, before 23-year-old defender picked up a knee injury which is being keeping him out of action in the opening games of the 2016-17 campaign.

Rudiger, however, is not open to join the Stamford Bridge outfit in the January window.

No secret that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is actively looking for a new centre-back to sign in the winter transfer window and the Italian tactician has set sights on many Serie A players who could enhance the Blues’ defensive line.

Rudiger, however, is not the only Serie A defender on Conte’s shopping list as Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci and AC Milan centre-back Alessio Romagnoli are also known to be long time targets of the former Juventus boss.
