The Premier League giants Arsenal are reported to be scouting two players in today’s Serie A game between Genoa and Napoli.

As gianlucadimarzio.com can understand, Arsenal’s chief scout Tony Banfield has been spotted in the stands of the Stadio Marassi to follow Napoli’s Jorginho and Genoa’s Diego Perotti.

Jorginho is the mainstay of Napoli’s midfield. The Brazilian-born playmaker is also holder of an Italian passport and his growth at the Stadio San Paolo has been so fast and consistent thus far that he could receive a senior Italy national team call up for the next two friendly games against Belgium and Romania.

As far as Diego Perotti is concerned, his performances are not as shiny as last year’s, but the Argentinean remains among the most skilled Serie A players. Watford and Bournemouth have already pounced on the player last summer, but the two Premier League side failed to sign the 27 year old who is also reported to be on Juventus’ and Inter’s target for the January transfer campaign.
