Arsenal reignite their interest in Draxler

After comments this week from Wolfsburg Sporting Director Klaus Allofs that midfielder Julian Draxler could leave the club if the right offer is made, The Sun reports that Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with a move for the 23-year-old German international.

The journal states that the Gunners have been long time admirers of the player and although it looked as though he would leave the club in the summer, a failed move to PSG looks to have affected his form in the current Bundesliga season. After some impressive performances in last summer’s European Championships in France, the player promptly returned to his club side and immediately put in a transfer request. Signed from Schalke 04 for £25 million in 2015, Draxler scored nine goals in 34 appearances last season but has failed to find the target during the current campaign.

Juventus are also strongly linked with a January move after also being heavily linked with a move back in the summer of 2015.
