Arsenal has ended speculation over the future of their highly-rated defender Hector Bellerin, by announcing that the 21-year-old Spaniard has signed a new deal at the club.
 

The player has penned an extension until 2023 and will earn a salary of £100,000 a week. Recent reports have linked the youngster with a move back to Barcelona, the club where he grew up in the famous Masia youth academy before making the switch to North London in 2011. Following his arrival, he continued to develop in the Gunners’ youth ranks before being sent out on a season-long loan to Watford in 2013.   

Now Bellerin has become an important part of Arsene Wenger’s first-team squad and after making 36 league appearances last season for the Gunners, he’s made a solid start to the new campaign as he looks to try to help the club win their first Premier League title since 2004.
