ANALYSYS: the future of Juve boss Allegri still uncertain
The club’s Chief Executive Giuseppe Marotta has declared that the third place in the Serie A final table is the minimum target for Juve, while one of the main shareholders –John Elkann- said that winning the scudetto must remain an option.
This means that Allegri can’t afford any more mistakes, and that not only his future but also his present is uncertain. The games against AC Milan and Manchester City could be decisive for the 48-year-old. And the pause for the International games has not helped the Tuscan tactician, as at least four players are injured. If at the end of the year, the bianconeri will be no longer in the Champions League and too far from the third place, a change on the bench could foresee the transfer market.
