Allegri reveals Andrea Pirlo’s retirement date
The Italian midfielder visited his old teammates at the Juventus training centre yesterday, taking pictures and talking with all of them, including Allegri who had coached him at AC Milan and Juventus (below there is a picture with Paulo Dybala who, however, has never played with Pirlo in his career).
During today’s press conference, Allegri has revealed when the New York City midfielder is going to retire: “It was nice to see him, we talked for a while, he said that he’s good and that he’s going to play for one more year.”Sempre bello tornare e rivedere gli amici! #21 @PauDybala_JR pic.twitter.com/ZKb43Ch3CB

Allegri has also announced that both Gonzalo Higuain and Medhi Benatia are fit to play and have been included in Juventus’ squad list for tomorrow’s game. The Morocco International could start the game in defence in place of Giorgio Chiellini who is still not 100% fit, Allegri has also revealed. If Benatia will be relegated to the bench, Daniele Rugani will start in centre defence.
