Allegri reacts to Porto draw: 'No easy games in the Champions League'
Juventus’ Champions League draw is generally seen as good news by fans of the Bianconeri.
With the likes of Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City all potential opponents, the Old Lady has drawn Porto, a comparatively easy team.
Coach Max Allegri has, however, encouraged everyone to remain cautious, tweeting shortly after the draw that “there are no easy games at this level”.
Non avevo ansie particolari oggi perché so che questa Juve può giocarsela con chiunque: a questo livello non esistono però partite semplici.
“I wasn’t particularly scared today, because I knew that Juventus can take on anyone” he also tweeted.
Allegri’s Champions League record is pretty good in Turin, having taken the Bianconeri all the way to the final in his first campaign back in 2014-2015.
Though the Old Lady didn’t progress past the Round of 16 last year, that owed to their playing Bayern Munich, and giving the Bavarians a tough game at the Allianz Arena.
The other Italian participant, Napoli, were nowhere near as fortunate, drawing defending Champions Real Madrid.
