Allegri: ‘Don’t overload Dybala with responsabilities’
Massimiliano Allegri regularly held a pre-match press conference ahead of the meeting with the Premier League’s giants.
“We’ve done nothing special in this Champions’ League campaign and there are still two games to be played against two great teams. Tomorrow it will be very hard, everything can happen. We’ll need our fans to support us,”, Allegri told the press.
The Bianconeri’s star Paul Pogba, will face his experienced alter-ego Yaya Tourè in the battle of the midfield.
“The difference between them is that Touré is ten years older, but Paul has to prove himself every time, he has to be more consistent and less stylish on the pitch.”
With Alvaro Morata, Mario Mandzukic, Simone Zaza and Paulo Dybala all fit to play, Allegri has wealth of option up front, although he did not revealed who will play against the Sky Blues.
“I can only say that I will play with two strikers, but I still have to decide if I’ll opt for three or four defenders. Mandzukic has always scored a lot of goals throughout his career and he’ll do the same here, I am sure about it.”
“Paulo Dybala is getting praise and credit, but you need to remember that he is only 22 and overloading such a young player with all the responsibilities is not good.”
Good news for the Old Lady’s boss as Patrice Evra has recovered from his injury and will be eligible to play tomorrow.
