The agent of new Inter striker Gabigol has been speaking to Radio Bandeirantes about the summer transfer saga that surrounded his client. Wagner Ribeiro explained that; “Juventus only made a proposal, no-one came to speak with us. With Inter it was different; the President came to dinner with us and explained that he wanted to speak with Gabriel to try to convince him that they were his best option. The new owners want to do at Inter what’s been done at Manchester City and Chelsea; their project looks wonderful and Gabriel will be a key part of it”.
 

Ribeiro continued; “They want to become the best team in Europe once more, just like in 2010. They have bought Joao Mario and Gabriel to show their intent. Frank de Boer was desperate to speak to my client and this was also important in his decision. He wanted to know where he prefers playing so he can accommodate him in the team”.
