The agent of Domenico Criscito has been talking to fcinternews.it about why his client’s proposed move ultimately failed this summer. Andrea D’Amico explained that; “Inter demonstrated their interest and did not hide the fact that they were anxious to open dialogue. The reason business never took place is simple; Zenit only wanted a full transfer but the nerazzurri only proposed a loan deal which the Russian’s rejected”.
 

Asked whether another assault in January was possible, D’Amico replied; “It’s difficult to say, we will see what develops between now and the January window”.
