Andrea Masiello's agent: 'No Juve or Roma, he is part of Bari's plans'
Young, Italian and interesting: Andrea Masiello is the new market name for Juventus. The 24 year old central defender from Bari, who has already been in Bianconero in 2003-2005, could arrive in January. The player’s agent David Torchia spoke to calciomercato.com about his client’s situation.
Is Juventus interest real?
It's always a pleasure to be of interest to Juventus. We already talked this summer, but I do not think there is anything concrete at this time. I have never been contacted and no one offered me anything.
Has Roma come forward?
Roma showed interest this summer, but then nothing happened because frankly a negotiation was never started.
Will he remain in Bari?
I think Masiello is non-transferable; Bari is having a difficult situation in the standings and can not sell its best players. Andrea is doing very well he is one of the most interesting players in Italian defence and therefore has many admirers. He is part of Bari’s project even if the team is going through a difficult period.
Daniele Galloppa is one of your clients, how is he recovering from his injury (broken knee ligaments ed)?
I spoke to him today, he is much better; he is charged and has began to train with the team. Has made great strides, but it takes time. It's only been four months since his injury, but is working well and the recovery proceeds in the best way. I think he will be back earlier than expected. Galloppa like Paloschi, is a major player in which Parma has made an investment on an economic and technical level, I agree with President Ghirardi that considers both purchases.
