AC Milan winger Alessio Cerci could join city rivals Inter
M.G.
28-year-old winger Alessio Cerci was a target for AC Milan when he was still playing for Torino, and after six months at Atletico Madrid, finally joined the rossoneri on loan from the Colchoneros, as part of a swap involving 31-year-old striker Fernando Torres; and while El nino has become one of Diego Simeone’s key-players, the Italy international has never got used to his new ambiance; even with his new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic –who had already trained him at Fiorentina- Cerci is having a lot of difficulties; the Serb doesn’t consider him a forward and, during yesterday press conference, has not mentioned him in the list of the midfielders who could start tonight against Napoli. For this reason, the talented player could leave during the next transfer window, and Milan could find an agreement with the Spanish club to loan him to a third party: as outlined by calciomercato.com, the former AS Roma winger could join city rivals Inter Milan, as part of the negotiation that could bring 27-year-old center back Andrea Ranocchia to the rossoneri.
