    AC Milan: sprint for Essien. Juventus: D'Ambrosio won't join

    As well known, AC Milan’s priority for the current transfer window is the signing of a new midfielder: in the last hours, the rossoneri have speeded-up the negotiation for Chelsea 31 year old Michael Essien, and, according to Sky Sport, the agents of the Ghana international have been seen in Milan, and, as reported by Milannews, the Lombard club and the Blues are ready to share the salary of the former Real Madrid player. Milan are also seeking the heir of their 36 year old goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, and, interviewed by Radio Manà Sport, Matteo Roggi, agent of Genoa 21 year old Mattia Perin has declared that there is nothing going on at the moment between the Italy Under 21 international and the rossoneri, even if everything could happen and “San Siro” would be the ideal destination for his client. The Lombard club is also trying to sell some of its player, and, as reported by L’Equipe, in addition to Monaco, also Trazbonspor are keen on 31 year old defender Philippe Mexes. Meanwhile, Milan have loaned 19 year old defender Jherson Vergara to Parma.

    As reported earlier, Juventus seem intentioned to overtake Inter Milan in the hunt for Torino 25 year old wingback Danilo D’Ambrosio, but, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the bianconeri and their city rivals have not talked about the former Juve Stabia player but about 26 year old winger Alessio Cerci and 24 year old defender Matteo Darmian.
