AC Milan: Santon unlikely to join. Inter: keen on Pitroipa
AC Milan are extremely active on the transfer market, but, first of all, the rossoneri will have to found a new coach: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport transfer market expert Carlo Laudisa, the Lombard club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has met on of the main candidates for Milan’s bench, Botafogo midfielder Clarence Seedorf; this latter, according to Tuttosport, is already in talks with the rossoneri’s scout Serginho, and they could have talked about Botafogo 19 year old center back Doria and Atletico Paranaense 24 year old midfielder Emerson. In any case, Milan’s priority for the current transfer window remains the signing of a new wingback, but their task seems extremely difficult to accomplish: as reported earlier, the Lombard club has been overtaken by AS Roma in the hunt for Torino 25 year old Danilo D’Ambrosio, and, as explained by calciomercato.com, this has happened because the rossoneri’s coach Massimiliano Allegri has stopped the transfer of 22 year old attacking midfielder Riccardo Saponara to the granata. Moreover, interviewed by Eurosport, Claudio Vigorelli, agent of Newcastle United 23 year old Davide Santon has declared that his client has no intention to leave the Magpies.
City rivals Inter Milan are seeking a high-rated forward, but, as reported by AS, have been joined by Atletico de Madrid in the hunt for Paris Saint-Germain 28 year old Ezequiel Lavezzi. On the contrary, regarding their midfield, the nerazzurri, according to Burkina24.com, have offered 4,5 million euros to Rennes to obtain 27 year old Jonathan Pitroipa, also tracked by Southampton, Hamburg and Schalke 04.
