Napoli: Zapata will stay. Juve: Kramaric unlikely to join
Despite the arrival of 23-year-old Manolo Gabbiadini, Napoli don’t seem intentioned to let their forward Duvan Zapata leave: the Colombia international is a target for Sampdoria, Udinese, Cagliari and especially Torino, who could take advantage of the azzurri’s interest for 25-year-old wingback Matteo Darmian, but, as outlined by calciomercato.com, Sporting Director Riccardo Bigon has refused all the offer received, as his club considers the South American player not for sale; on the contrary, Napoli could decide to earn some money by selling 32-year-old right back Christian Maggio, 29-year-old center back Miguel Angel Britos or 30-year-old midfielder Gokhan Inler. For what concerns the possible new signings, Napoli are seeking a center back, and, as reported by ilsussidiario.net, are interested, as well as AS Roma, in Lyon 21-year-old Samuel Umtiti. The Campania’s club would also like to reinforce its team’s flank, and, according to goal.com, have joined Inter Milan and Serie A defending champions Juventus in the hunt for Manchester United 19-year-old Adnan Januzaj. The bianconeri’s main target for such position remains in any case Bayern Munich 23-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri, with Palermo 25-year-old Franco Vazquez and Galatasaray 30-year-old Wesley Sneijder as alternatives; on the contrary, the Piedmont’s club will probably have to renounce to HNK Rijeka 23-year-old Andrej Kramaric, who, despite a previous agreement with Juve themselves, seems henceforth intended to join Chelsea.
