AC Milan: Balotelli for sale. Inter: Podolski farther
As previously reported, after the dismissal of Ariedo Braida, AC Milan are seeking a new Sports Director, and, according to calciomercato.com transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Hellas Verona 43 year old Sean Sogliano will meet in the next days the club’s owner’s daughter Barbara Berlusconi and the Chief Executive Adriano Galliani; for the moment is this latter that takes care of the rossoneri’s transfer market policy, and, during an interviewed accorded to Sky Sport, has denied to have talked with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about the possible transfer to the Merengues of 21 year old right back Mattia De Sciglio. In any case, after loosing the chance to advance to the next stage of the Champions League and considering their poor results in the Serie A, Milan will have to sell some of their players, and one of them seems to be 23 year old striker Mario Balotelli, who yesterday had an awful performance against Atletico de Madrid: the Italy international doesn’t seem to have many suitors at the moment, excluding Monaco and Galatasaray, so the Lombard club will probably have to wait for the next World Cup to have the possibility to earn an important amount by selling the former Manchester City player. Who is perhaps seeking a new forward are the city rivals Inter Milan, and one of the nerazzurri’s target is Arsenal 28 year old Lukas Podolski, but, interviewed by Bild, the Germany international has expressed his will to remain at his current club.
