Moratti felt strong in the summer 2010: his Inter won everything and he kept all his champions, even the oldest ones. Only the young talent of Italian football, Mario Balotelli, was transferred to Manchester City for 28 million euro. This money was not reinvested in the market, and the disappointing results the following season, showed that this was a mistake.

This year Inter want to sell one of the most important players, Wesley Sneijder, who will probably go to Manchester. Clearly, Inter are applying a strict financial fair play: a second-tier coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, and second-tier acquisitions, Ricky Alvarez, Castaignos, Jonathan.

However, the club is still paying very high salaries to Milito, Maicon, Cambiasso, Stankovic and so forth. To sum up, Inter are spending a lot of money and losing the champions of the future. Not a good sign...
