11-year-old promise emerges as possible target of Real Madrid and Napoli
Competition for new prospects can be really harsh sometimes, but making offers before your opponents is vital for each club to sign their targets at a cheap price.
If, however, the transfer target is just 11-year-old, it really means that clubs have no time to waste at all. Today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport reports that both Napoli and Real Madrid are both interested in signing Diego Gargiulo an 11-year-old child born in Lampedusa.
Gargiulo took part to a summer training camp for kids organized by Real Madrid in Sicily last summer and left all the coaches and instructors stunned by his technical skills. Diego emerged among over 150 kids also attending the training camp and scouts of the Los Blancos have never lost track of the young, talented promise since then.
Napoli, however, is Gargiulo’s favourite team and according to the Italian paper, the partenopei are also monitoring the situation, hoping to take him to their youth sector.
