Zinedine Zidane blocks Man Utd target Isco’s exit

Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder Isco is being linked with moves to many top European clubs as the Spaniard is failing to impress with the Merengues since Zinedine Zidane has been appointed as their new boss less than one year ago.

Juventus and Manchester United were interested in signing him last summer, but with the Old Lady who eventually signed the likes of Marko Pjaca and Juan Cuadrado in the summer, Isco is not a priority anymore for the Serie A side.

Jose Mourinho, on the contrary, is still considering a January bid for the 24-year-old ace. According to AS, Real Madrid’s boss Zinedine Zidane doesn’t want to do without the Spanish attacking midfielder as Merengues have been handed a two-window transfer ban and could not sign a replacement of the former Malaga ace before January 2018.

Isco switched Malaga with Real Madrid in summer 2013 completing a € 30 million move. The talented midfielder has 23 goals and 19 assists in 115 games with the Blancos.
