    Zanetti optimistic over Inter’s chances next season

    Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti believes the Nerazzurri have the foundations in place to improve and build on this season’s fourth place finish in Serie A. In an interview to Radio 24, the former club captain said the following: "All we need is a couple of new additions, while remembering that we have to be attentive to the Financial Fair Play regulations. However, the foundations are there and now we have to build and ensure we get the best out of those players that can do more."
     
    The Inter great once again clarified that the future is with Mancini while also having his say on Juventus transfer target and fellow Argentine Javier Mascherano: "We will go on with Mancini, we are talking about continuing and we hope to strengthen this squad. If Juve get Mascherano then they will have made a great signing, we are talking about an incredible player."
