Zaccheroni: ‘Pioli like Conte’
“In the last few years, Pioli has proved to be the manager with the most interesting ideas after Antonio Conte. Picking an Italian manager is a huge decision for Inter. When I joined the club, my staff and I decided to use players who knew Italian football if they were not Italian.”
Pioli is likely to become new Inter boss as the Italian manager is said to have found agreement with Inter. The Serie A giants are expected to release an official announcement in the next few hours.
Zaccheroni was appointed as Inter coach in 2003 and spent just one season at the club. In 2010 he replaced Ciro Ferrara as Juventus boss finishing the 2010-11 campaign 7th and managing to qualify for the Europa League. Current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte became the Old Lady’s new boss one year later.
