WOW! Roma target Diawara a no-show in Bologna training camp
The latest news isn't in any way encouraging for Bologna: the 18-year-old midfielder has refused to show up to his team's training camp in Castelrotto, something which Il Messaggero believes could well be the straw that breaks the camel's back... and brings him closer and closer to Roma.
The Giallorossi's director of sport Walter Sabatini has done his level best to entice Bologna whilst keeping the price down. Bologna had initially asked for Juan Iturbe in exchange, but couldn't match his salary requests.
They then mentioned Leandro Paredes, only to be rebuffed by Roma.
The next act saw Sabatini offer €12 million, plus Sadiq Umar, still below the 15m that Bologna have always asked for.
Will Bologna be able to resist? Were Diawara to have another great season, surely his price would spike even further?
