There’s trouble brewing in Bologna: it appears that Amadou Diawara is only earning a paltry sum with the Serie A promotees, and wants to leave anyway, if his agent can be believed.

“Bologna say they value Diawara at €20 million, but they’re only paying him €3000 a month,” Daniele Piraino told Zerocinquantuno.it, a popular Bologna-related website.

“That’s what an inter-regional player would earn. It’s insulting to claim that Bologna have increased his salary, and disrepectful for a player with over 30 games as a starter.

“I hope this situation doesn’t continue until August. Bologna know what Diawara wants: to leave!”.

Part of what has prompted this anger is the Felsinei’s apparent unwillingness to meet with Valencia, who, Piraino claims, somehow failed to meet with CEO Pitarch on three occasions when he visited Milan.

“Even when Pitarch came to Bologna, they expressed their unwillingness to negotiate. Negotiations have been going on for three months, and Bologna have rejected an offer of €10 million so far”.

It appears that many sides have been tailing Diawara for a while, but that the Rossoblu seem to have a valuation of him that is higher than what their suitors are willing to pay.
