Witsel-Juve, Zenit: 'He seemed to like the contract renewal offer we proposed to him'
Maksim Mitrofanov, Zenit's general manager, had this to say on Axel Witsel which was reported on itasportpress.it: "Our intentions are to renew his contract, if he does leave it will have been his decision. We already made him an offer which he seemed to like. Witsel is a professional, he will respect his contract with us. Why did we up our demands for Witsel? Because it isn't easy to find a replacement in that ittle time, it is almost impossible".
