    Why Falcao-Inter, Tevez-Milan, Oscar-Juve WON'T happen

With the January transfer window just round the corner, many transfer rumours are obviously spreading like wildfire.

Some, however, are simply not based on facts. Big-money moves for the likes of Radamel Falcao and Carlos Tevez are rendered impossible in some cases by restrictions on non-EU players.

With Inter signing Miranda and Stefan Jovetic, a move for Falcao (excluding a temporary loan somewhere else) has to be excluded.

Same goes for Juventus, who have brought in Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado. They have been linked to Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alex Teixeira and Chelsea playmaker Oscar.

With Milan bringing in Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano, talk of bringing Carlos Tevez in is mere speculation.

Roma, too, have acquired Mohamed Salah (who should be back in action for the BATE Borisov tie) and Edin Dzeko, also excluding them from bringing in more non-EU players.

Ezequiel Lavezzi's case, however, is different exactly because he has a European passport. Juventus have been negotiating with his agents for a while.

Further analysis of UEFA's rules finds a number of interesting Serie A players who are essentially stuck with their clubs for the rest of the season, as they are on their second one and aren't allowed to play for a third one.

Hence, Hernanes, Alex telles, Adem Ljajic, Willy Vainqueur and Victor Ibarbo are unlikely to be going anywhere before July.
