Watford, Behrami: "Mazzarri is opening a cycle like he did at Napoli. Inter made a mistake letting him go"

Watford midfielder Valon Behrami has been speaking to Sportitalia about his former club Napoli’s 1-1 draw against Besiktas in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. He explained that; “I watched the game last night and the team played really well. They have the personalities to entertain and it’s always a spectacle when they play. Of course the absence of Milik is unfortunate bit they need to adjust to life without him and perhaps in January they will look at the transfer market”.

He continued; “Sooner or later this Napoli team will win something but with the budget they have it’s difficult to compete with Juventus or the other big European teams”. Asked about life at Watford he stated that; “We have started well and we are making great strides forward. Our goal is to arrive in a European spot next season”.
He then had this to say about his current boss Walter Mazzarri; “I believe Inter made a big mistake letting him go. I’m not just saying that because I have an excellent relationship with him, but because when you see what has happened at Inter since he left, they were possibly a little too hasty. We hope he can open a cycle here like he did at Napoli”.
