Stephan El Shaarawy's goal against former club AC Milan perfectly summed up the mess the Rossoneri are in right now. Beyond being completely schooled at home, their former starlet popped up to notch Roma's brilliant second goal, which effectively killed the game.

Though he refused to celebrate after scoring, El Shaarawy expressed all his joy and gratitude later on Instagram, writing:

"So many emotions, too many all at once. I sincerely thank those who have never forgotten me, to those who have and will continue to support me regardless of which shirt they wear. I'm a person first, a player second... LONG LIVE FOOTBALL!"
