Sassuolo defender Sime Vrsaljko is a wanted man both in Italy and in Spain after another great season in Serie A.

Inter have been admirers since his time at Dynamo Zagreb and Juventus now see the Croat as the ideal replacement for Stephan Lichtsteiner. Relations between the bianconeri and his current employer are excellent but there is a new player in town, after reports stating that there is now concrete interest from Spain.
 

Atletico Madrid are looking to strengthen their already formidable squad and one of the objectives is Vrsalijko. Representatives from the club have been spotted on several occasions at the Mapei Stadium to observe the 24-year-old at first hand and having sent back positive reports to the Spanish capital, it seems an offer could be imminent.  

Juventus however, remain in pole position and Sassuolo are believed to be looking for a fee of around €15 million; a price that may now be re-evaluated after interest from the Champions League semi-finalists.
