Villareal, Milan and Roma pounce on Juve youth Rugani!
It appears that a number of clubs are reacting to news of Juventus' reported agreement with Bayern Munich over Mehdi Benatia.
With the former Roma player set to join the Turinese giants on loan (with compulsory buyback of 18 million), Daniele Rugani's role is unlikely to increase, something his aget had complained about often last season.
Whatever the defender may be thinking now, a number of clubs have got a move on: AC Milan are interested, and could make an offer even before the upcoming takeover from a Chinese consortium.
Otherwise, AS Roma director of sport Walter Sabatini has always been a big fan of Rugani's. Then again, Juve don't tend to sell to Serie A rivals, something which may have become evident when Roma asked Juventus to include him in the Pjanic deal.
It also appears that the Bianconeri don't consider Rugani to be disposable: valued at around €25 million, Roma would, moreover, only be offering a loan, with an as-yet-undefined buyout clause.
A third club has slipped into the race... Villareal. The trouble is that the Spaniards are also only offering a loan, and have already asked Juve about it. Though the two sides are set to meet again, it doesn't bode well.
