    Amadou Diawara featured as one of the most interesting players in Serie A last season (read stats below), so much so he has attracted the interest of the best European clubs. The highly-rated 19-year-old striker had been linked with a move to Juventus in January, whilst AS Roma and Napoli are believed to be the most interested Serie A clubs in signing him in the upcoming transfer window.


    Trouble is, Valencia are the club that made the most concrete steps towards the signature of the former San Marino starlet. The La Liga side are the only one to have narrowed the player’s € 15 million price-tag and their Italian competitors are now pondering whether it is a good idea or not to present an improved bid to Bologna to sign the promising Guineans holding midfielder.
