Valencia interested in major flops Zaza, Kondogbia

Valencia are interested in Simone Zaza of West Ham and Geoffrey Kondogbia of Inter.

The 25-year-old striker isn’t being linked to the Liga side by mere rumour, either, but by the mouth of Jesus Pitarch, the club’s director of sport.

“We liked Zaza last summer and we still like him now, he recently declared (via TribalFootball), “He’s one of our January objectives, whether he arrives or not depends on the conditions of the sale”.

The Liga side needs to beef up its attack, which lost Paco Alcacer and Andre’ Gomes last summer. Zaza himself is enthusiastic about a move to Spain, having only a few months ago massively favoured staying in Italy.

Parent club Juventus are hoping to make Los Che pay for Zaza’s buyout clause of €20 million, one which West Ham are very much intent on escaping.

Regarding Kondogbia, on the other hand, Super Deporte are claiming that Kondogbia is also one of the Liga side’s targets, and that the Valencians are reported to have asked Inter Milan about him.

The Frenchman impressed when he was brought to Sevilla by director of sport Monchi for a mere €3 million in 2012.
