UPDATE: Milan star Bacca set to turn West Ham down, Hammers to try for Zaza?
Our sources are clear: despite West Ham's best attempts, Carlos Bacca is set to refuse their offer to come to London.
Reports in the last few days indicated that AC Milan had agreed to sell the Colombian for €30 million, but that the Hammers would need to convince the Rossonero with an acceptable salary.
This is a bit of problem for Milan, who now need to find the funds for their transfer targets elsewhere. Atletico Madrid are still said to be interested, as well as Arsenal and Napoli, though the latter are said to be keeping tabs on the situation, nothing more.
Could this mean that the Hammers will now make a concerted effort to use their transfer kitty on two other players they like, namely Simone Zaza and Manolo Gabbiadini?
