Unhappy Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is being linked by both Italian and English media with a move to Serie A where both AC Milan and Napoli would be happy to welcome the player’s services.

Giroud, 30, has three goals in eight appearances with the Gunners this term. The Frenchman has only played 92 minutes in Premier League games so far this season and is reportedly unhappy with his situation at Arsenal, so much so he’s considering not to extend his contract expiring in June 2018 with the North London club.

Both AC Milan and Napoli are interested in signing the unhappy Arsenal striker in the January transfer window.
The partenopei are looking for a replacement for injured Arkadisuz Milik who might remain out of action for five months with a knee injury. West Ham striker Simone Zaza has also been linked with a move to the San Paolo in the winter transfer window as Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri needs a classic centre forward and is also considering offloading Manolo Gabbiadini.

Giroud had been linked with a move to Napoli last summer, before the Serie A giants signed Milik from Ajax for € 33 million.

AC Milan could also be considering placing a bid for the French striker as Carlos Bacca doesn’t seem to be that kind of striker that suit Vincenzo Montella’s style. The Colombian striker’s agent, however, has denied that his client will be leaving the San Siro in January.
