After another Serie A defeat last night at the Dacia Arena against Lazio, the future of coach Beppe Iachini remains in doubt. The squad were jeered off the pitch by angry fans after the 0-3 loss and it’s now believed that President Pozzo will use the international break to assess the future of the 52-year-old.
 

The Friuli club has had a hugely disappointing start to the new season having picked up just two wins from their opening seven league games. The club sits just two points clear of the relegation zone having scored just six goals so far. Last night’s demonstrations by supporters against the club and in particular, Iachini, has prompted the patron to have a long think about whether to make an early change at the helm. There was huge optimism at the club when the former Palermo boss was appointed but with tempers running high in the stands, his spell on the bench may be short-lived.
