Twitter hasn't taken Conte's Pavoletti snub very well
Nearly 24 hours ago, Antonio Conte was busy revealing his final, 23-man Azzurri squad... and Leonardo Pavoletti wasn't in it.
As can be imagined, the reaction from Italy fans wasn't a positive one, especially when recent strugglers like Graziano Pelle, Eder and Ciro Immobile did make the list.
With hashtags like #JeSuisPavoletti and #IoStoConPavoloso most prominent, it is obvious that many wanted to see the scorer of 14 goals in 25 Serie A games (one every 137 minutes) give the Azzurri an extra edge in attack.
Here's a first reaction:14 - Leonardo Pavoletti has scored the most goals (14) among italian players in the top-5 Euro Leagues 2015/16. Out. pic.twitter.com/dLQhI8rAqv

Pavoletti: 14 goals / 25 apps
IN
Eder: 13 goals / 33 apps
Immobile: 7 goals / 22 apps
Zaza: 5 goals / 19 apps
Pellè: 11 goals / 30 apps
And another still:A woefully out of form Eder.. Immobile... Both over Pavoletti, the top scoring Italian? https://t.co/RoKihQP5wi

You're being far too nice there, Tarek!@shadesofoffside @hashim0307 Pavoletti is the one who misses out a bit unfairly imo.
