TWELFTH MAN: Sampdoria fans plan to fly with team to Cagliari

TWELFTH MAN: Sampdoria fans plan to fly with team to Cagliari

It’s not been an impressive start to the season for Sampdoria, at least not on paper. After the Bologna and Empoli wins, the Doriani have lost three in a row, though two of them came against stronger opposition in Roma and Milan.

Overall, the fans are actually happy… but also worried. Not so much about where the team will go, but where it’s going this weekend, with the trip to Cagliari considered to be a tough cookie. The two main groups of the South End, the Ultras Tito Cucchiaroni and the Fedelissimi 1961, have planned to fly with the Doria to Sardinia, organizing a meet-up at Genoa’s Cristoforo Colombo airport on Sunday.

With Atalanta being belted 3-0 last week at the Sant’Elia, Giampaolo’s men are going to need it!
