Rome is only a few hours away from being brought to a standstill. Whether at home or at the Olimpico, the whole city will be watching Rudi Garcia's side try and keep their Serie A title bid alive against an up-and-down Lazio team.

The Giallorossi, for their part, have taken to their official facebook account to publish the comments of three Roman-born players who have a particular stake in tomorrow's Derby Capitolino.

Francesco Totti: "I know what Roma fans feel when faced with the derby, as a youth I had the privilege of witnessing it as one of them. I am, and always be, a Roma fan. The Derby will always be a special game. As a player, experience is key to keep one's emotions under check. To win a derby means gifting the fans an immense sense of joy: to celebrate with them, now that's what the Great Beauty [an Italian Academy Award Winning film from 2013] truly is..."

Daniele De Rossi: "My first derbies as a player were the continuation of those I watched as a fan: the city grounds to a halt, and hurls you into a whirpool of emotions. Keeping them under control isn't easy. Intensity and concentration are necessary, but the passion and warmth a player feels coming from the stands can't leave him indifferent".

Alessandro Florenzi: "For those who are both Roman and Romanisti, both on the pitch and in the stands, the derby can never be a game like any other. As a footballer, the derby is challenge within a challenge, it's about letting the emotions motivate you without burning you.
