Roma's captain Francesco Totti clarifies his relationship with Ranieri on his official website: "This message is addressed to all Roma fans, the real ones like me and the coach. In the last days a lot have been said and written. To avoid any further misunderstandings I clarify that I was with some supporters and I simply replied to something that was said in a typical Roman expression. Those who know me well know that I am the first to be disappointed when we lose a game. 

Then he added: "Ranieri and I have the same DNA, a Roman DNA".
