Tottenham want Palermo to lower €25m pricetag for star Vazquez
After Alberto Gilardino’s departure, it looks like owner Maurizio Zamparini will do the same. Roma newspaper the Corriere dello Sport claims that the sale to a Chinese group is becoming a reality, with meetings between the two sides getting more and more frequent.
There’s more: the departure of one particular player will likely affect the club’s transfer policy. So far, not a single player has entered the gates, and this is because of the uncertain future of Franco Vazquez.
Only by selling the 25 million - valued Argentine will the Rosanero be able to buy… but it appears that nobody is tempted by the high price.
The last offer, however, has come from London, and specifically Tottenham Hotspur. Maurizio Pochettino is very interested in his compatriot, and hopes to attract him by using the Champions League as a hook.
