Tottenham centre-back expected to pen new contract soon
Dele Ali, Eriksen, Dier, Rose, Carroll, Winks and Walker have just penned a contract extension with the North London club and Jan Vertonghen is said to be the next one on Mauricio Pochettino’s list.
The Argentinean has whispered that another player could sign a contract extension with the club soon.
“There will be news in the next few days. I can’t say who I am talking about, but he could be a centre-back.”
Vertonghen a £ 10 million switch from Ajax in 2012 and has collected 168 appearances with the Spurs since then.
