Torino look to Inter for defensive reinforcements

Accoring to Turin sports daily Tuttosport, Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has turned his attention to Inter to try to bring in some January defensive reinforcements.
The journal claims that Andrea Ranocchia, Marco Andreolli and Yao Eloge Koffi are the three men in question, as the Serbia tactician looks to continue his sides push for a European place next season. 28-year-old Ranocchia has been frozen out of the Inter starting XI this eason after spemding the second-half on the last campaign on-loan at Sampdoria. Despite claiming that he wanted to fight for his place with the nerazzurri, former coach Frank de Boer only used him in Europa League games.

The same scenario pretty much applies to the 30-year-old Andreolli who has failed to win back his place after a season on-loan at Sevilla in 2015-16. The former Roma centre-half looks to be surplus to requirements despite whoever replaces de Boer at the helm. 20-year-old Yao Eloge Koffi is a real prospect and the Ivorian spent last term on-loan at Crotone. A move to Torino would give him vital first-team experience in Serie A before heading back to the San Siro next summer.
The paper also claims that the club could look overseas with both Vida (Dynamo Kiev) and Matej Mitrovic (Rijeka) also in the notebook.
