The three players who could leave AS Roma this summer
This morning’s edition of the Italian paper outlines the three players who could be sold next summer.
Miralem Pjanic – The Bosnia International is arguably AS Roma’s hottest commodity. He has a € 45 million release clause, but Walter Sabatini could decide to sell him for a fee in the region of € 35-40 million. Real Madrid and PSG are those kinds of club which would be more than happy to have him the squad.
Antonio Sanabria – Scorer of 10 goals in La Liga this term, Sanabria will end his loan-spell at Sporting Gijon at the end of the season. Diego Simeone has set sights on him as the Argentinean boss is looking for Atletico Madrid’s next striker.
Umar Sadiq – The former Spezia wonderkid has already scored his first Serie A goal this season. AS Roma reportedly rejected Arsenal’s € 13 million bid last January, but they could decide to sell the 18-year-old hit-man in the summer.
As Il Tempo reports, AS Roma should cash in roughly € 80 million from the players’ sales. Those money would be useful to reduce their deficit and invest on new recruits.
