The sister of Inter striker Mauro Icardi is currently taking part in Big Brother Argentina. Ivana has been taking time out however, to speak in depth to La Nacion.
 

ON WANDA & ICARDI: When asked if the couple had taken measures to prevent her speaking about their private life she replied; “I only heard about this when it became public. Whether it has been Wanda or not I’ve been blocked using Twitter and Mauro was not pleased that I went onto Big Brother”.
 

ON ICARDI & THE NATIONAL TEAM: “I believe that the national team has become a personal issue. It’s obvious that Mauro merits a place in the squad so I can only assume the reason he is overlooked is because of what has happened in his private life. I have always spoken well of him on the show and tried to make people aware that what they read in the newspapers is not true. His personal life has nothing to do with his job and if at the end this is what is preventing him from being picked for Argentina then there’s no reason carrying on”.  

ON THE EARLY DAYS WITH WANDA: “It all began in the summer of 2013. I knew something was happening when he left his previous girlfriend. He spoke with our mother and told her everything. When I first met her we exchanged a few words but for me she is the wife of my brother, not Wanda Nara”.
 

ON MAXI LOPEZ: “Everyone thinks that Wanda is only interested in the money, but this is not true. Wanda already has everything, the cars the apartments and the bike. According to most people who knew them, Mauro has not been very respectful and nobody has been aware of the other women he has been with behind her back”.
