Football is now a distant memory for Daniel Pablo Osvaldo as he embarks on a career as a musician. The 30-year-old has swapped his football boots for the microphone as he made his debut on stage with his band Barrio Viejo Blues in Buenos Aires.

After a career that has taken in 12 different clubs, including Boca Juniors, Espanyol, Roma, Juventus, Inter and Porto and one that has seen him represent Italy on 14 occasions, the former striker has now embraced his other passion in life. Whether we will ever see him gracing the stage of Glastonbury in years to come remains to be seen.
