The future of Pjanic, now Juve joins the race

Miralem Pjanic is set to be one of the biggest names in this summer’s transfer window. Tied to Roma until 2018 but with a €38 million buy-out clause that will certainly not deter the likes of Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich; latest reports suggest the German giants have already made progress in their negotiations.

WILL HE STAY OR WILL HE GO
If we believe what we are hearing in the Eternal City, then both Pjanic and Nainggolan will be lining-up for Roma next season. Look more closely however, and it’s clear that failure to secure second place in the championship, thus gaining direct entry into the Champions League, may have some bearing. With the club still restricted by their financial fair-play penalty, General Manager Baldissoni recently declared that; “We will make the choices that bests suits our needs but the objective remains to reinforce the playing staff”.

    A GLANCE TOWARDS JUVENTUS
The Bosnian midfielder has been in the Italian capital for five season’s and is still to win any silverware. A recent birthday celebration that took him to London was seen as a possible clue to his next destination and in the last few days, the rumours coming from Bavaria have become more insistent. Now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus has entered the race for the 26-year-old and initial contact is believed to have been made. The bianconeri are looking for top-class additions to their midfield, Pjanic has a profile that fits perfectly.
