Suning group brings Inter legends back to the club

Inter’s takeover by Suning Group has officially distanced legendary president Massimo Moratti from the club he had been running for more 18 years. Inter new owners, however, don’t want to lose touch with the club’s tradition and a host of old players have been already tasked with jobs in the club’s control room.

Javier Zanerri will remain in charge as Inter’s Vice-President, a role he has been covering for one year now and that suits perfectly with the figure of the former nerazzurri captain. His old teammate Dejan Stankovic is Mancini’s right-hand-man in the coaching staff, being Mancini’s assistant coach.

Another player who made history at the club is Walter Saumel. We’ve already reported that the Argentinean has been offered a role as one of Inter’s scouts, reporting directly to Piero Ausilio and Massimiliano Mirabelli (Inter’s chief scout).

Inter have lost their historic president, but won’t be losing their legends, waiting for Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso to be hired by the club too.
