Sunderland, Crystal Palace target Honda set for AC Milan stay

Keisuke Honda is not likely to leave AC Milan in the current transfer window, cm.com pundit Federico Albrizio reports.

The Japan International has requests from the Premier League where both Sunderland and Crystal Palace have asked information about the former CSKA Moscow man.

Honda, however, doesn’t want to join clubs that are not playing Europa League football at least and is not going to join either Sunderland or Crystal Palace. The Japanese star is set to stay at AC Milan where he hopes to convince Vincenzo Montella to give him some game time this season.

With a contract expiring in June 2017, however, Honda might decide to leave the San Siro in the winter transfer window, when the rossoneri could allow his departure for free or for a very low price.tag.

Meantime Honda wants to convince Montella that he deserves to be starting material.
