Spurs playmaker Erika Lamela wants to pledge his future to the club according to the London Evening Standard.
 

The 24-year-old has been in sparkling form this season and is already one of the top earners at the club currently receiving around £65,000 per week. Now he is looking to follow several of the clubs big names by signing a new contract at White Hart Lane but there are conditions attached; Lamela’s current agreement expires in 2018 but now it’s believed that he wants to double his current weekly earnings to £120,000 before completing any new deal.  

Reports from Italy in recent weeks have suggested that AC Milan have made tentative enquiries as to the Argentine’s availability but any potential negotiations have been blocked by the Premier League club. On top of this, Lamela has also stated that he would one day like to return to his former club Roma whilst declaring his love for the Eternal City.
