Roma: waiting for Rabiot. Napoli: Mancini concrete option

AS Roma and Juventus keep on competing on both the pitch and the transfer market: both clubs, in fact, keep on tracking Stromsgodset 16-year-old attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard, but the young Norwegian, as reported by the Daily Express, has become a target also for Liverpool and Manchester United. The giallorossi and the Serie A defending champions are also keen on 19-year-old midfielder Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire at the end of the season: the Capital’s club would like to obtain the Frenchman during the next transfer window, but, according to Il Tempo, the player wants to leave in June as a free agent, so he will have more chances to join Arsenal or Juve indeed; meanwhile, Rabiot has left the first team to play with his younger team mates, and during today’s press conference, PSG coach Laurent Blanc has revealed that soon the club will communicate its decision about the player. 23-year-old midfielder Alessandro Florenzi is becoming a veritable hero for the giallorossi’s fans: during the last transfer window the player seemed intentioned to join Fiorentina, but now he will probably extend his deal until June 2018. As reported yesterday, Napoli are thinking about replacing their first team’s coach Rafa Benitez with Roberto Mancini: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 49-year-old represents a concrete option for the azzurri, while the main alternative to the former Lazio star is Luciano Spalletti.
